Osteopathic manual practitioners recognize the integrated nature of a person as a whole, which includes the body’s structures and their influence on global function. Brad Boake is a Physiotherapist, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and completed his Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practice. As a clinician he is known for drawing on his multidisciplinary background to choose the right treatment at the right time allowing for an efficient and effective treatment. Brad has a special interest in global biomechanics and the interconnectedness of the body. Through this lens he is able to support treatment goals by addressing a seemingly distant dysfunction needed to break through a plateau.

Brad received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. At McMaster he also worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with varsity athletics and conducted sports medicine research with a team of orthopaedic surgeons. He worked in a general practice in Northern Ontario before returning to Hamilton to further his studies at the Canadian College of Osteopathy. His passion for a more holistic, integrated approach to the body was ignited by his own personal experiences recovering from a series of injuries.
